Apple to Donate Amid Flood Crises in Pakistan
Tim Cook, CEO of Apple on Twitter has informed us to donate amid the climate catastrophe in Pakistan. Cook on Twitter said floods in Pakistan have caused a humanitarian disaster.
Ahsan Iqbal, Planning Minister thanked Cook in a tweet. Iqbal appealed to G-7, Fortune 100, and OCED (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) to support Pakistan in the fight against climate disaster.
He said, Pakistan is facing the lowest carbon emission and global warming with more than 30 million innocent people affected.
The death toll of the monsoon rains have left a disasterous spot on the families as the recent fatalities have been marked by more than 1200. The floods have displaced immeasurable people, crops are destroyed and several are killed. Thousands of people need food, shelter, clothes, and clean water to continue to survive in the flood prones areas.
